Our Agave Syrup is a natural sweetener that is 1.4 sweeter than sugar, made 100% from Tequilana Weber Blue agave. It has a wide applications range in the food industry, used as ingredient in the manufacturing of food products with low calorie and low glycemic content, so it can be used in moderate portions by diabetics, as an ideal sweetener substitute.

    • Due to its high fructose content, it does not require insulin to be metabolized, as with other sugars.

  • HYGROSCOPIC PROPERTIES
    • Agave syrup absorbs moisture. This is a favorable feature when formulated in intermediate moisture foods, like bakery and processed fruit products.

    STORAGE CONDITIONS

    Store in a cool and dry place at an ideal tempareture lower than 35 C, without any structural damage to the primary package, preferably out of reach of direct sunlight.

SAFETY

Non-toxic product. It is suggested to be consumed moderatelly, as with any other commercial sweetener. Although its glycemic index is low, consumer should determine if this product is appropiate for his/her health

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTION PROCESS

Our agave syrup is made 100% from Tequilana Weber Blue Agave. Production process begins with the raw materials, careful selection. Agave cores or “pinas” are grounded to extract the juice through a diffuser. Then the agave juice is filtered and heated to hydrolize it, then concentrate it by evaporation up to 75 ºBrix.
